NEW ORLEANS—The CUNA CFO Council presented its first-ever CFO Professional of the Year Award to Vincent J. Market, EVP and CFO with TruMark Financial Credit Union in Trevose, Penn.
Market was honored for his achievements and dedication to his credit union during an awards luncheon at the CFO Council Conference here.
“It was a really tough choice between the stellar nominees, but in the end, Mr. Market's history, attitude and accomplishments clearly shone the brightest,” said Suzanne Weinstein, CUNA CFO Council Chair and CFO at Orlando FCU, in a statement.
Market was recognized for his achievements in leading the development of a variety of financial surveys, scorecards, analysis and benchmarks of the key strategic goals and tactics to measure and strengthen a credit union’s overall performance.
“As an educator and mentor, he fostered collaboration within the CUNA CFO Council to create surveys and share financial data for the credit union industry,” the CFO Council said. “He is an advocate and promotes financial literacy in public schools, education, career development and community involvement as an adjunct professor at LaSalle University’s MBA program. Market’s leadership and dedication contribute to the advancement of the credit union movement.”
The CUNA CFO Council Professional of the Year Award recognizes and honors the individual who exemplifies excellence in credit union financial management.
