McPharlin Retiring This Week From MSU FCU; Clobes New CEO

EAST LANSING–After 42 years with the credit union, Patrick McPharlin will retire as CEO of Michigan State University Federal Credit Union this week.

McPharlin has spent the past 14 years as CEO of the credit union, which has 195,000 members, 634 employees, and $2.8 billion in assets. As he leaves for retirement, McPharlin told the Lansing State Journal, “We have to innovate and improve every day.” He is being succeeded as CEO by April Clobes.
