Members CU CEO Kathy Chartier Dies; Board Coordinating Transition Efforts

STAMFORD, Conn.—Members Credit Union said it is coordinating continuity efforts following the death of its President and CEO, Kathy L. Chartier.

In a statement posted to its website and LinkedIn page, the credit union said Chartier’s “leadership, kindness, and commitment to the credit union philosophy of people helping people left a lasting impact on our members, staff, and community.”

Members CU described Chartier as “a respected leader, mentor, and advocate for the credit union philosophy of people helping people,” adding that her “compassion, humility, and dedication to serving others touched countless lives throughout our community and the broader credit union movement.”

The credit union said operations continue as normal and that its board of directors and leadership team are “actively coordinating continuity efforts” during the transition.
