JACKSON, Mich.–Michigan Community Credit Union has joined with Doug Beiswanger of ERA Reardon Realty to back a new promotion in conjunction with local businesses in its markets.
Called the First Freebie Friday, each month MCCU and Beiswanger are featuring a different business at which free giveaways will be available. Beth Ploof, the credit union’s mortgage originator, will join with Beiswanger at the various events.
In addition to the free giveaways, Ploof and Beiswanger will also be handing out coupons to the customers, redeemable for a free home inspection, and a free appraisal for their next home purchase.
The initial First Freebie Friday event took place at Classic Appearances Carwash in Vandercook Lake, Mich. The first 100 cars received a free carwash.
“Beth and I wanted to share something positive with the communities we live and work in as a thank you. We hope people stop by, say hello, and enjoy a little something from us to them,” said Doug Beiswanger.
