CUPERTINO, Calif.—Credit unions are again well-represented on the latest list of financial institutions approved for Apple Pay.
Of the 12 new FIs now offering the solution, seven are CUs, including: BayPort Credit Union; California Coast Credit Union; Community First Credit Union (California); HAPO Community Credit Union; Prestige Community Credit Union; Provident Credit Union, and Staley Credit Union.
The new Apple Pay CUs are being announced at the same time rival Android Pay is making its debut. To date just one CU has been confirmed as approved to offer Android Pay: Navy Federal Credit Union.
