SEATTLE—Moss Adams LLP, an accounting and business consulting firm that is retained by a number of credit unions, announced it has agreed to combine with the Spokane, Wash.–based financial services consulting firm Contineo. The deal is effective Jan. 1.
“We’ve had a good relationship with Contineo for a number of years, and it has a strong client base and similar company values,” said Jeff Green, national practice leader for the financial services practice at Moss Adams. “This combination is a great opportunity to increase our capacity to serve financial services clients.”
A boutique firm founded in 1999, Contineo has grown to provide professional services to hundreds of companies in 27 states across the country. The firm provides IT security, regulatory compliance, and internal audit services to financial services organizations. Contineo also currently offers outsourced IT services, which Moss Adams will not be absorbing, the companies said.
In January, Contineo’s 14 professionals will join Moss Adams in the firm’s Spokane office and through remote hubs in Seattle, Dallas, and Meadview, Ariz. Craig Sanders, president and CEO of Contineo, will join Moss Adams as a partner, continuing his work with clients as well as working with leadership on further growth opportunities.
