ARLINGTON, Va.–NAFCU said it has hosted its final kickoff meeting for this year’s Military Saves Week, which takes place Feb. 22-27 and encourages military servicemembers and their families to save.
Military Saves Week, which coincides with America Saves Week, is part of the Department of Defense Financial Readiness Campaign.
“Credit unions, especially defense credit unions, are encouraged to sign up for this year’s campaign,” said NAFCU Military Liaison Quincy Enoch. “By participating, credit unions will have the opportunity to demonstrate the value they provide the men and women who work each day to keep our nation safe and strong. All credit unions participating will receive access to many resources and tools they can use to promote financial literacy among military servicemembers and their families.”
NAFCU said it will be participating in a number of Military Saves Week activities. Credit unions are also encouraged to sign up online to participate.
