ARLINGTON, Va.—NAFCU and members of its board will meet today with both Federal Reserve Board Governor Jerome Powell and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) Director Richard Cordray in separate meetings to discuss a wide range of credit union issues.
During the meeting with Powell, the NAFCU representatives will present the findings of its 2014 NAFCU Report on Credit Unions. The meeting with Cordray will address important issues under the bureau’s authority that impact the credit union industry.
