ALEXANDRIA, Va.—After announcing in July it was seeking a “vibrant” new name that would reflect its membership, NARFE Premier FCU said it has found it. The credit union has changed its name to InFirst FCU.
The $160-million CU was founded in 1935 to serve the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association. Today it continues to serve that membership, as well as 400 SEGs and anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in King George, Va.
InFirst FCU said it remains on track to purchase a branch of Community Bank of the Chesapeake in King George in the first quarter of 2016 in order to better serve the community.
