NASCUS Announces Updated Agenda For 60th Annual Summit

ARLINGTON, Va. – The National Association of State Credit Union Supervisors (NASCUS) has updated the agenda for its 60th Annual Meeting, the State System Summit (S3), scheduled to take place Sept. 17–19, 2025, in San Antonio.

New Expert-Led Sessions

The updated lineup, NASCUS said, reinforces the organization's focus on tackling real-world challenges with meaningful, actionable insight and conversation.

  • “Navigating the Intersection of Cryptocurrency and Banking: Implications for Credit Union Regulators”
    Speaker: Amanda Wick, Principal, Incite Consulting LLC
  • “Fraud, Waste, and Abuse – How Can You Prepare Your Organization?”
    Speaker: Folashade Abiola-Banjac, Principal-Leader of FLI, CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA)
  • “Green Lending: Exploring Opportunities and Addressing Risks”
    Speaker: Dan LeFree, President and CEO, Community 1st Credit Union
  • “Fraud Frontlines: Emerging Threats and Strategic Responses”
    Speaker: Chelsea Treboniak, Owner, Critical Ops
  • “Risk Management in an Evolving Economy”
    Speakers: Sheila Balzer, Partner, Assurance & Advisory, and Pam Easley, Executive Management Consultant, SingerLewak
