ALEXANDRIA, Va. –NCUA has announced that on Oct. 1 it will extend its annual invitation to credit unions to conduct a voluntary diversity self-assessment.
The agency said that this year the diversity self-assessment will be administered through a third-party vendor, Optimal Solutions Group LLC, to “provide complete separation from the examination and supervision programs. Optimal Solutions Group will administer the self-assessment, collect all responses, and provide an aggregated report to the NCUA. The vendor will provide all technical support during the process.”
How Responses are Used
NCUA said it uses credit unions’ responses to help identify successful diversity policies and programs and to guide the development of technical assistance, guidance, and resources to advance diversity and inclusion within the credit union system.
