MADISON, Wis.–Credit union organizations holding a “Financial Fitness Day” fundraiser on April 6, 2016, are being encouraged by the National Credit Union Foundation to share photos of their participation on Twitter using the hashtag #FinancialFitnessDay.
A winner, pulled at random, will receive a complete set of Biz Kid$ DVDs as well as 25 “Money Rules” books to leverage in their financial education efforts.
To participate in Financial Fitness Day, the Foundation said credit union organizations should hold a Jeans or Casual Day fundraiser for staff on April 6. This initiative will raise funds for the Foundation and state credit union foundations in support of their financial education initiatives.
The contest is running all day on April 6. The Financial Fitness Day campaign website can be found at financialfitnessday.com. Donations made as part of the initiative will be split 50/50 between the Foundation and the state credit union foundation in which the donation was made. The donations can also be made at financialfitnessday.com.
