MADISON, Wis. – To celebrate Giving Tuesday, the National Credit Union Foundation is hosting a Twitter chat for credit unions on Tuesday, Dec. 1, at 3 p.m. CT. The Foundation invites credit unions to discuss their charitable giving activities and more.
“Giving Tuesday is a day dedicated to giving back,” said Christopher Morris, Foundation director of communications. “Credit unions everywhere are incredibly generous to further the financial well-being of their communities, which also aligns with our work at the Foundation. We’re pleased to facilitate this discussion around such an important and timely topic.”
Credit unions and their staff are encouraged to share best practices and examples of their philanthropy, donation policies, scholarships, special holiday programs, communications around community giving, and more. 1st Financial Federal Credit Union in Wentzville, Mo., will be featured in the Twitter chat as a special guest.
