National CU Foundation Wins 2 Diamond Awards

MADISON, Wis.–The National Credit Union Foundation has won two Diamond Awards from the CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council for its work.

The Foundation received the two Diamond Awards for the following projects:

  • “Retire on Track” Retirement Fair – The new Foundation program won a Diamond Award in the “Financial Education” category. The interactive fair assists credit unions with helping their members and staff better prepare for retirement.
  • “When it Comes to Financial Freedom, I’m a Lost Cause” Video – The Foundation video, produced for the 2015 National Credit Union Foundation Dinner Presenting the Herb Wegner Memorial Awards, won a Diamond Award in the new “Video” category. The video uses a palindrome-type poem to reflect credit unions’ and the Foundations’ work to improve people’s financial lives.

“This is a huge honor for the Foundation and proves we are on the right track,” said Christopher Morris, Foundation director of communications. “For example, we’ve already seen tremendous impact and interest from credit union organizations around our new Retirement Fair. Having the fair win a Diamond Award is icing on the cake.”
