SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb.–The $3.5-million Panhandle Cooperative FCU here is being absorbed via merger by Meridian Trust FCU.
The move is effective April 1. Kim Withers, the CEO at Meridian Trust, told local media merger discussions began in the summer of 2015 as the 800-member PCFCU recognized it could not meet all the product and service needs of its members.
The $325-million Meridian Trust FCU has 25,000 members.
