ALEXANDRIA, Va.—The Feb. 9 town hall webinar hosted by NCUA Chairman Debbie Matz and featuring CFPB Director Richard Cordray is now available online.
More than 1,200 people registered for the 90-minute webinar, which covered a wide range of topics important to the credit union system. The audio recording and a written transcript are available online here and will be available until Feb. 9, 2017.
During the virtual town hall, Chairman Matz and Director Cordray, as well as staff from both agencies, answered questions on topics including:
- The status of the overdraft protection rule,
- Consumer access to checking accounts and prepaid cards,
- NCUA’s member-business lending rule, and
- The impact of the Military Lending Act rule.
