PLEASANTON, Calif.—Patelco Credit Union said it has activated its Disaster Relief Program and donated $10,000 to the American Red Cross to help provide aid to members, families and communities affected by the Valley and Butte wildfires in Northern California.
Patelco’s Disaster Relief Program offers affected members reimbursed ATM fees, fast cash through 0% interest personal loans, and skipped or deferred loan payments.
“This year’s wildfires have hit especially hard in our communities. We all live here and, as a community credit union, we are committed to helping our neighbors who may be displaced or greatly affected by the fires,” said CEO and president Erin Mendez. “We hope the added financial help from our Disaster Relief Program and donation to the Red Cross will provide relief to our members and the communities in which they live.”
Patelco’s Disaster Relief Program offers:
- ATM surcharge reimbursement. Members can use any ATM anywhere, and Patelco will reimburse ATM fees.
- $500 cash now. Personal loans at 0% interest.
- An additional $10,000 at a very low, special disaster relief rate.
- No early withdrawal penalties. Patelco will waive early withdrawal penalties for members who withdraw their share certificates.
- Skip a loan payment. Members can skip a payment for one month on any personal, credit card, auto, boat, and RV loans.
- Deferred loan payments. Members can defer their payments for more than one month depending on the loan type.
