ALEXANDRIA, Va.—Timed to launch on Veteran’s Day, Pentagon FCU has introduced its PenFed Defender Visa Signature Card.

Since 2012, PenFed has offered the PenFed Defender American Express Card, which carries the same features as the new Visa Defender card. CardHub recently recognized the PenFed Defender American Express Card as one of the “Best Military Cards 2014.”
The PenFed Defender is available to active duty military service members, the National Guard, reservists, retired and honorably discharged veterans, and certain affinity groups. The card features:
- 1.5% cash back on every purchase
- Unlimited cash back rewards that are automatically credited to cardholder’s account every month
- No fees
- 8.99% APR for purchases and cash advances
- Chip enabled
