Pennsylvania CUs Kick Off Newest iBelong Campaigns

HARRISBURG, Penn.—The Pennsylvania CU Association has kicked off the 2015 version of iBelong, the league’s highly successful CU image campaign.

New this year is the addition of high-profile programming in each market, in addition to 15- and 30-second spots running on network and cable television and an increased emphasis on digital advertising, the league stated.

“We are very excited about the new, high-impact spot schedule in each of the media markets,” said Mike Wishnow, PCUA SVP, communications and public relations. “We are also very excited about increasing iBelong’s digital presence in an effort to attract even more younger members.”

In the Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Central Pennsylvania, and Johnstown/Altoona/State College media markets, credit unions will be the local sponsors of NBC’s The Voice. In the Erie market, iBelongspots will also be featured in primetime, including spots on Dancing with the Stars, The Bachelor, Scandal, How to Get Away with Murder, and Grey’s Anatomy. In the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton market, iBelong spots will air during The Today Show, Modern Family, Big Bang Theory, NCIS,and 60 Minutes.

In the Lehigh Valley market, in addition to benefiting from programming in Philadelphia and Central Pennsylvania, iBelong will have news and weather sponsorships on the only local network that specifically serves the Lehigh Valley. iBelong spots will air on Good Morning America, Millionaire, Jeopardy,and Wheel of Fortune, along with The Voice sponsorship coming out of the Philadelphia market.

In addition to sponsoring The Voice, the Central Pennsylvania media buy also includes on-air appearances by sponsoring credit unions on two local news networks.
