‘Pints With a Purpose’ Fundraiser for CMN Hospitals to be Held Ahead of GoWest Association’s Maxx Meeting

DENVER–A “Pints with Purpose” fundraiser to be held ahead of the GoWest CU Associations upcoming Maxx Conference to raise funds for Children’s Miracle Network hospitals has been announced.

Pints with Purpose will be held Oct. 13, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Green Valley Ranch Beer Garden in Denver, which is located near the conference hotel - Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center. A shuttle will be available to and from the hotel.

“This event will be a unique opportunity for credit union professionals from across the GoWest region to network, collaborate, and celebrate the power of cooperative action,” Scott Sager, CFO with Colorado Credit Union and one of the event organizers, said in a statement. “This isn’t just about raising funds; it’s about showcasing the true essence of the credit union movement—people helping people.”

‘Heartfelt Stories’

According to organizers, the event was inspired by the “heartfelt stories and success” of the Credit Unions for Kids (CU4Kids) auction held annually by the GoWest Credit Union Association.

“We are thrilled to see credit unions collaborating for such a meaningful cause,” Nick Coleman, director, strategic partnerships for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, said in a statement. “The funds raised through Pints with Purpose will directly support our hospitals and the families who rely on them. This event truly exemplifies the spirit of community and cooperation that credit unions are known for.”
