PITTSBURGH.—Plans to merge the $347-million St. Norbert's CU here with $16.6-million Alcose Credit Union, based in White Oak, Pa., have been scrapped, according to the Pittsburgh Business Times.
The two CUs have withdrawn their merger application that was submitted with the Pennsylvania Department of Banking & Securities in August, the Pittsburgh Business Times said, noting Alcose CU confirmed the withdrawal in a phone call with the news outlet.
The banking department's website also shows the application has been withdrawn, the Business Times said.
