HUDSON, Wis. – YMCA Camp St. Croix here has received a $550,000 grant from the Royal Credit Union Foundation to build a new program center that will serve day campers, community organizations and schools. The new building will named in honor of RCU in recognition of the donation.
“Royal Credit Union is committed to giving back and being active in all the communities it serves,” stated Rudy Pereira, CEO of RCU. “Each year Royal Credit Union supports hundreds of local charities through donations, events sponsorships, volunteering and participation in fundraising activities. We recognized a few years ago, that if we truly wanted to make an impact we needed to increase our level of giving, and from that desire the RCU Foundation was created.”
