REV FCU Partners With The Citadel’s Athletic Program

SUMMERVILLE, S.C.–REV FCU said it has entered into a partnership with the athletic department of The Citadel.

The multi-year agreement will make the $1.14-billion REV CU the official credit union of Bulldog Athletics, and will include exclusive rights to launch a new Bulldog Checking account later this year that will feature a REV debit card with The Citadel's branding, the organizations said.

Terms of the deal were not released.

The Citadel is a military school, and REV FCU has a military background, having been chartered in 1955 to serve Joint Base Charleston.
"We are excited to team up with The Citadel to support its Corps of Cadets, student athletes, and alumni both on and off the field,” REV CU President and CEO Jason Lee said in a statement. “The partnership between REV and The Citadel embodies the synergy between our two organizations and the mutual commitment we have in supporting the military community and the Charleston Metro Region."

‘Special Activations’
The organizations said that as an extension of the partnership, the #UpTheGood Foundation Powered by REV will create “special activations during the basketball and football seasons that will benefit local nonprofit organizations.” Starting this season, the foundation will donate to a local non-profit for all field goals and three-pointers made by The Citadel football and basketball programs.
