BURBANK, Calif. –The $1.45 billion Farmers Insurance FCU has named Mirella Reznic CEO.

Mirella Reznic

Reznic takes over on Feb. 3, stepping in for CFO Harland Bengs, who has been filling in after former CEO Laura Campbell retired.

“Mirella’s selection comes after a rigorous and thoughtful process of assessing and interviewing numerous, highly qualified and impressive internal and external candidates,” said Rudy Trevino, FIFCU board chairman. “Throughout the process, we made it a priority to select an individual with broad credit union and financial services executive leadership experience, who is committed to our long-standing, member-focused culture, our mission, and our strategy. The board feels strongly that Mirella exceeds all these requirements.”

Most recently, Reznic served as executive vice president and chief strategy officer for Valley Strong Credit Union in Bakersfield, Calif., where she was responsible for the marketing, strategic planning, technology, digital transformation, product management, data and advanced analytics, and communications functions.

“I am truly honored to step into the role of CEO,” said Reznic. “This organization stands out to me for its unwavering commitment to our members and our longtime sponsor Farmers Insurance, including its thousands of employees, agents, district managers, retirees and their families, ensuring their financial well-being and success.”
