CRANSTON, R.I.–Cranston Municipal Employees Credit Union has named a new president/CEO. The $58-million CMECU has named Scott R. Kaplan to lead the organization, succeeding Dennis J. Crawley after a 25-year career with the credit union.
“Mr. Kaplan comes to our institution with over 30 years of management experience,” the credit union said in a statement. “His impressive list of credentials will facilitate our next chapter in the progression of CMECU as we strive for the best future for our members.”
Cranston Municipal Employees has approximately 2,925 employees.
