Roaring ’20s To Be Theme Of NWCUA’s CMN Gala

PORTLAND, Ore.–The Roaring ’20s will be the theme of the 2015 Credit Unions for Kids Auction and Gala scheduled for Oct. 7 of this year.

The event will be held in conjunction with the Northwest Credit Union Association’s Amplify annual meeting.

The event is one of the most successful fundraisers for Credit Unions for Kids each year, having raised $200,000 in 2014. This year’s goal is $250,000.

“The ’20s were a time of excess and excitement,” said Jamie Dedmon, managing director of the Northwest Credit Union Foundation, in a statement first published in the Northwest CU Association’s newsletter. “We’re going to keep the excitement and give Northwest credit unions a chance to practice their favorite kind of excess — excessive generosity towards Credit Unions for Kids.”

The gala will include both live and silent auctions.  The funds go to benefit six different CMN Hospitals.
