FLORENCE, S.C.—An armed robber held up a branch of Florence DuPont Employees FCU here, forcing the one member who was inside the branch at the time to sit on the floor while the robbery was taking place, according to the Florence Police Department.
According to the police, the robber entered the credit union holding a handgun, told the one member inside the location to sit down and that he was robbing the business.
The suspect demanded all of the money, and a teller handed over an undisclosed amount of cash. The robber is described as a stocky, African-American male who is 230 to 240 pounds.
