GALVESTON, Texas—Ronesha Holmes has been named interim CEO at $97-million Coastal Community FCU, the Galveston County Daily News reported.
Holmes, previously the CU’s EVP, succeeds Carol Gaylord, who concluded her 38-year tenure with the CU on June 30.
“As interim CEO, Ms. Holmes will oversee daily operations and make key decisions in collaboration with the board, including matters related to staffing, finances, new initiatives, media relations, and policy direction,” Board Chairman Gilbert Robinson said.
“I’m honored that the board has entrusted me with this opportunity,” Holmes said. “I’m deeply committed to our mission of ‘people helping people’ and to strengthening our connection with the community. I believe wholeheartedly in our team and our members.”
