WASHINGTON–Congress will hold several hearings of interest to credit unions today.
At 10 a.m. ET, the House Financial Services Committee will hold a hearing titled, “The Dodd-Frank Act Five Years Later: Are We More Free?”
At 1 p.m. the House Small Business subcommittee on economic growth, tax and capital access, will hold a similar hearing: “Financing Main Street: How Dodd-Frank is Crippling Small Lenders and Access to Capital.”
At 2 p.m. the House Financial Services subcommittee on monetary policy and trade will address, “Strengthening U.S. Leadership in a “Turbulent Global Economy.”
