SUGAR LAND, Texas—Financial Credit Union has won the naming rights for a new entertainment venue being built here.
The facility, to be known as the Smart Financial Centre at Sugar Land, is being built at a cost of $84 million and will host a wide variety of performances. With moveable walls, capacity can range from 3,300 seats to 6,300. The deal is for five-years; terms have not been released.
The naming deal follows on the heels of an announcement by Suncoast Credit Union in Florida that it has obtained the naming rights to an arena being built by Florida Southwestern State College.
