ST. CLOUD, Minn./ROCKY HILL, Conn.–St. Cloud FCU and DaLand CUSO said they have partnered on the development of the CU-Digital Asset Vault, built on DaLand’s CODE Engine, and will be the first credit union in the nation to solve the “major problem of giving people a trusted, local, secure location to store their new form of wealth—digital assets.”
The credit union said it plans to launch the solution in August.

“As part of this pioneering partnership, St. Cloud FCU and DaLand are sharing their insights and strategies through a series of detailed LinkedIn articles,” the organizations said. “These articles are designed to lead the financial services industry by educating, advocating, and providing practical guidance on navigating the digital asset age.”
The articles will cover topics that include:
- Digital assets
- Blockchain technology
- The evolution of currency
- Strategic advice and action steps for credit union leaders to “not only remain relevant but to actively shape the future of financial services.”
A ‘Core Function’
“We don’t often strive to be at the forefront of new digital spaces given our credit union's size ($353.8 million),” Jed Meyer, CEO at St. Cloud Financial CU said in a statement. “However, our 94-year quest to serve as a trusted local partner in securing our members' wealth has led us to this point of launching a digital asset vault. Wealth in the form of tokenized digital assets is where our industry is headed. The movement and safe preservation of our members' money is a core function of our credit union, and we are proud to be prepared to serve our community in this way.”
Driving Meaningful Change
Added Jeff Levesque, CEO at DaLand CUSO, “Our technical advancements and strategic expertise complement St. Cloud Financial Credit Union’s strategic vision. Together, we are driving meaningful change in the financial sector. This latest innovation by DaLand is made possible by our extensive experience helping financial institutions optimize operations and implement modern, relevant banking technologies. DaLand remains a full-service solutions provider and is excited to add this use case to its catalogue of functions and components within our organization and CODE Engine.”
