FIFE LAKE, Minn.– Forest Area Federal Credit Union will be sending branch staff into its community here today to “Pay it Forward.
“This effort will direct the Fife Lake branch team to take $500 provided to them by the credit union and Pay It Forward into their community,” the CU stated.
Led by CEO Robert Raden, staff will head into the community beginning at 12:45 pm. at the Fife Lake Library, where the staff will be participating in a full staff training event for the day.
Forest Area FCU performed this Pay it Forward Activity with its Kalkaska Branch location in February of 2015 and the Kingsley Branch in October of 2015 with “great results.”
“My staff was excited and proud that we could do this,” said Raden. “They expressed that it was such a rewarding experience to know that our credit union is as community committed as we possibly can be. A strong relationship in our communities has made our credit union a success and our board is always open to be a benefactor to all of our communities in tough times.’
