DALLAS—Onboarding Services and Credit Union Resources, a subsidiary of Cornerstone Credit Union League, said they have formed a new limited partnership for the purpose of providing onboarding support and leadership development services for newly placed credit union executives and management staff.
“Because even the most experienced leaders face the potential for serious missteps as they transition into their roles in a new organization, it is critical that resources be available to ensure smooth integration and assimilation,” the companies said in a statement. “That's where Onboarding Services and Credit Union Resources can help by providing proactive and comprehensive support with a unique online program, PowerStart Onboarding.”
PowerStart makes available best practice onboarding approaches, proprietary coaching tools, and expert guidance during the employee's critical first three-to-four months in a new role—precisely when they're most needed, the organizations said.
According to the two companies, the PowerStart Program utilizes eight powerful leadership courses to accelerate the assimilation process, coaching and guiding the employee on the best ways to do the new job skillfully. The system is designed to heighten and enrich organizational engagement, relationship building, and team development, and to encourage the new leader’s contributions.
The service will be provided as part of a package to organizations contracted with Credit Union Resources for executive search. PowerStart will also be available to other credit unions that would like to use the program for fast-tracking their new leaders (recruited and internally promoted), and for development of identified successors at all levels of the organization, the companies said.
