Teens Being Offered Up to $100 for Opening a Checking Account at Jordan FCU

SOUTH JORDAN, Utah–Jordan Federal Credit Union is offering $100 to teens age 14-19 for opening a checking account during August and September.

“Learn to handle money smartly and earn rewards every month,” the $378.5-million credit union said. “Start good habits now and have a bright future.

The account offers an initial $50 reward for opening a Teen Cash Back or Elite Rewards Checking Account and for setting up an online banking log-in.

Activity-Related Award

Another $50 is available based on activity that requires the teen member to make at least one deposit and complete five transactions in the account within the first 30 days.

The free checking account offers rewards and the option of a debit card. 

Minors aged 16 and 17 may have a checking account without a parent/guardian if they have government-issued ID.
