FAIRLESS HILLS, Penn.–A teller at a credit union here has been accused of making nearly a $10,000 withdrawal from her cash drawer.
Gabrielle Morton, 26, has been accused by Bristol Township, Penn., police with allegedly stealing $9,337.30 from her cash drawer at Fairless Credit Union. Police said the manager at the branch said that a cash drawer assigned to Morton was missing the cash, and that the manager and Morton were the only ones with access to the drawer. Police said that two other employees also helped to verify that the funds were missing.
Morton has been charged with felony theft and receiving stolen property and misdemeanor tampering with a record, and after appearing in court was released after posting $100,000 bail.
