AUSTIN, Texas–Three credit unions in this market have been identified as top places to work.
For the sixth consecutive year, United Heritage Credit Union has been named as one of the Austin American-Statesman Top Workplaces for 2015. The Top Workplaces are determined based solely on an employee survey conducted by WorkplaceDynamics, LLP, a Pennsylvania-based research firm focused on organizational health and employee engagement. WorkplaceDynamics has conducted regional Top Workplaces programs with 45 major publishing partners across the United States, a number of which have featured credit unions.
United Heritage was ranked #19 among the top 30 mid-sized businesses in the Austin area.
“To be named one of Austin’s Top Workplaces for a sixth consecutive year is truly an honor,” said United Heritage CEO Buddy Schroeder. “We know it’s the relationships we build and quality of our staff that make us unique and allow us to provide great service to our members.”
Also named a Top Workplace by the Austin American Statesman was A+ FCU.
“We strive to create an environment that enriches the lives of our employees, members, and surrounding communities,” said A+FCU CEO Kerry A. S. Parker. “This recognition validates our commitment to providing our employees with an environment that challenges and encourages them to grow personally and professionally.”
A+FCU said it offers numerous opportunities for professional development through an industry- recognized, employee-wide internal university, leadership development programs and tuition assistance to full-time and part-time employees. In addition, the CI provides numerous employee benefits including employee loans at reduced rates, a wellness program, referral program and more.
