SAN ANTONIO—Three credit unions have been named as finalists for an award and now find themselves competing against the likes of WWE Wrestling, JCPenney, the State of Florida’s Commissioner of Agriculture.
Generations FCU, Navy Federal and Notre Dame FCU are all finalists for the Best Use of Twitter in the PR Daily Social Media Awards.
"We've worked very hard for the past several years to restructure our online presence to add value, not just to our members but also to the community at large," Wendy Bryant-Beswick, chief marketing officer at Generations FCU, told the Cornerstone CU League, which first reported the news. "It's just a tremendous honor to be named as a finalist among some of the top companies and advertising and PR agencies in the country."
