MADISON, Wis.— CUES has opened voting for its Next Top Credit Union Exec. Twenty young, emerging leaders from within the credit union industry created video applications to compete for 2015 CUES Next Top Credit Union Exec, powered by Currency and in partnership with DDJ Myers.
Voting is now open at NextTopCreditUnionExec.com and will run through Thursday, July 30, at 3p.m. ET. The 10 applicants with the most online votes will have the opportunity to continue on in the competition. Additionally, a judging committee will add five additional applicants to form the Top 15.
Members of the Top 15 will create another blog post about their project. And each of the Top 15 will also receive a remote coaching session with DDJ Myers.
CUES said that a judging panel will evaluate and score the Top 15 based on their original application videos, their blog posts and the value their projects bring to their credit unions and to the credit union industry as a whole. These results will be tabulated and the five highest-ranking applicants will be named Finalists.
The five Finalists will win additional coaching sessions and registration, accommodation and airfare to CUES' CEO/Executive Team Network in Scottsdale, Ariz., Nov. 8-11, 2015, a prize package valued at $6,000.
While in Scottsdale, the Finalists will face off for the grand prize, a CUES educational package valued at $20,000, and the honor of being named 2015 CUES Next Top Credit Union Exec.
