LEBANON, Penn.–To get members to sit through a short demonstration of its online and mobile banking products, Lebanon FCU here made them comfortable—very comfortable.
According to the Pennsylvania CU Association, LFCU staged a “Recline and Unwind” promotion for members who were offered a recliner in every branch as a place to take a seat while the demo was given by an employee. The PCUA reported that if the member took advantage of the promotion by listening to the demo and signing up for Lebanon FCU's online/mobile banking products, they were automatically entered to win a free iPad mini.
In all, more than 165 members participated in the Recline and Unwind promotion.
