HELENA, Mont.–Trico Community Federal Credit Union here is now operating with a new name and a new charter.
The former FCU is now state chartered and known as Vocal Credit Union.
The name, said the credit union, reflects one of the financial cooperative’s core governing principles: “Where every member has a voice.”
Vocal will continue to serve all community members who live, work, worship, or attend school in Lewis and Clark, Jefferson, or Broadwater Counties.
“Vocal is, and always will be, guided by the community we serve. We want to ensure our name reflects our focus on personal service and inclusiveness, said Vocal’s CEO, Eddie Black, in a released statement.
The credit union, established in 1954, has $24.5-million in assets and 3,300 members.
