PLYMOUTH, Minn.–TruStone Financial FCU here said it is affiliating with the Minnesota CU Network and the Wisconsin Credit Union League.
The $1.06-billion TruStone Financial is the third-largest CU in Minnesota and said it has partnered with the MnCUN to advance legislative advocacy.
“As nationwide credit union membership tops 100 million consumers, it’s important for credit unions to work together. The relationship with the Minnesota Credit Union Network will reinforce the people helping people philosophy with our members and those across the globe,” said TruStone Financial Board Chair Tom Alagna in a released statement.
In the same statement, TruStone CEO Tim Bosiacki touted the MNCUN’s variety of educational opportunities and growth initiatives as a key driver behind the decision to join.
TruStone Financial is joining the Wisconsin league because it has several branches in the state.
