INDIANAPOLIS—The $1.1-billion Elements Financial Federal Credit Union here plans to acquire $4.6-million State Service Credit Union.
The deal is expected to be completed Dec. 5, and it will mark the first merger in the 85-year history of Elements FCU, formerly known as Eli Lilly FCU.
"It's a great opportunity to work with another premier employer here in the state," Elements CEO Lisa Schlehuber told the Indianapolis Business Journal. "And for its individual employees that decide to become members, we look forward to working with them and providing the same value that we've provided to our other members since 1930."
State Service has one office and four employees, and all will become part of EFCU, the CU stated.
