Two Michigan Credit Unions In Merger

ROCKFORD, Mich.—Rockford Community FCU is being absorbed via merger by the $125-million Community West Credit Union in Kentwood, Mich. RCFCU’s facility will become a branch of Community West.

“This partnership provides great opportunities for these two strong, established credit unions,” said Jon Looman, President/CEO of Community West Credit Union, in a statement. “It will allow Community West to extend financial services to more members in west Michigan, while enabling Rockford Community Credit Union to provide an enhanced array of products and services.”
