VENTURA, Calif.—Ventura County Credit Union has been recognized by MemberShoppers, a mystery shopping program for credit unions, as one of the highest performers in member service for its third quarter.
Through MemberShoppers’ service, the experience evaluations were performed by the credit union’s own members as well as professional mystery shoppers.
According to MemberShoppers, VCCU outperformed more than 70 of its top-ranking peers in three categories: Top Member Advocacy Score (overall), Top Member Advocacy Score (for credit unions with assets over $400 million) and Top Education & Referral Score (for credit unions with assets over $400 million). VCCU was reviewed by its ability to provide exceptional service on a case-by-case basis as well as overall, as a community-chartered credit union.
“The MemberShoppers’ recognition reflects our dedication and commitment to our members, providing them with the best services possible,” said Joe Schroeder, VCCU’s president and CEO. “We are thrilled to have received this honor that demonstrates our philosophy of ‘people helping people,’ which has guided VCCU from the beginning.”
