HERSHEY, Pa. – Vizo Financial just completed its 2025 Risk Management Conference, which was held was held at The Hotel Hershey here.
The event, which was held April 14-16, allowed credit union attendees and risk management professionals to connect during the multi-day conference, which was packed with educational sessions, fun activities and networking opportunities, Vizo said.
Driving the conversations at the conference were six expert speakers from several leading industry organizations, including:

“We had a fantastic lineup of expert speakers from a wide array of organizations at this year’s Risk Management Conference,” said Jaime Agostino, VP of sales, marketing and education at Vizo Financial. “The sessions were thought-provoking, and we received a lot of great feedback from attendees. Overall, it was another successful year for the conference.”
The two days of sessions covered topics such as the power of verbal communication as AI progresses in society, ways to reassess a credit union’s cyber risk management program, emerging trends and regulations in cannabis banking and how to detect fraud and lies through body language to protect the institution, among others.
“For the 2025 Risk Management Conference, our goal was to equip credit unions with the information and tools needed to enhance and mature their risk management programs,” said John Cuneo, SVP/chief risk officer at Vizo Financial. “By offering a wide assortment of talking points pertaining to risk – from team member engagement in risk management programs to a tabletop exercise to test emergency preparedness – we wanted to provide timely, relevant information and insights, so that attendees return to their credit unions confident and energized, ready to implement strong risk management strategies going forward.”
Attendees shared feedback about this year’s conference.
“This was my first conference, and I enjoyed it very much,” said Wesley Harrison, The Wright Credit Union. “All the information was very well thought out and presented. I learned a lot and can't wait to experience the next one.”
Vizo’s 2026 Risk Management Conference will be held April 22-24, at The Hotel Hershey.
