MIDDLETOWN, Penn.–Vizo Financial Corporate CU will host a webinar today at 10:00 titled “DEI By Design: How to Build a Successful Program.”
“There’s no exact blueprint when it comes to building a successful DEI program, but there are some basics your credit union should know, starting with the foundation,” Vizo Financial said. “To lay the groundwork, you must first understand the building blocks of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), as well as the key pieces that are crucial to the program’s infrastructure. In this session, Vizo Financial’s senior human resources generalist, Melanie Lambie, will guide you through the process of designing your own unique DEI program to create a more inclusive and equitable future for your credit union.”

According to Vizo Financial, the webinar will cover:
- Drafting Your DEI Blueprint – identifying core principles and foundational concepts
- Embracing Character – creating a language and environment that is focused on respect, not labels
- Laying the Cornerstones – setting goals that adhere to psychological safety and inclusion for all staff
- Building Blocks – developing policies and practices so everyone feels like an ally
- Assembling Your Crew – engaging leadership and employees, gaining participation and understanding feelings
- Continuous Construction – learning to accept missteps and cultivating a culture of ongoing
CPE Credits
Vizo Financial said that in accordance with the standards of the National Registry of CPE Sponsors, CPE credits will be granted based on a 50-minute hour to registered attendees who access the live session independently. CPE credits and certificates of completion cannot be given to group attendees per NASBA webinar attendance tracking requirements.
Only registered attendees who attend this live session will receive a certificate of completion and CPE credit.
