JACKSONVILLE, Fla.–VyStar Credit Union’s website has been flashing error messages following an update this week, although problems have reportedly not been widespread.
The Jacksonville Business Report quoted SVP-Communications and Planning Judy Walz as saying members had reported three specific issues, including not being able to continue registration after submitting an e-mail address, getting a system unavailable message and app errors, and overall slowness.
“We apologize for the inconvenience,” Walz told the Jacksonville Business Report. “As expected, we planned for heavy traffic and this situation exceeded all plans. The heavy concurrent traffic is bogging down Internet banking. VyStar realizes it is unacceptable and we are working to address this issue and restore your confidence as quickly as possible.”
VyStar said the problems are associated with heavy traffic and has been communicating with members via Twitter.
