MADISON, Wis.–The Filene Research Institute will host a webinar today to discuss what it has learned from its Racial Economic Equity Incubator.
“For over 18 months, Filene's Racial Economic Equity Incubator (REE) worked to identify opportunities to test, refine and evaluate strategies to close the racial wealth gap,” Filene said. “Filene's REE Incubator consisted of eight participating credit unions, 10 community partners and five expert coaches to help navigate the systemic and local inequalities that credit unions face.”
The event begins at 2 p.m. E.T., will include “firsthand experiences of the REE Incubator participants and their lessons learned from their work in addressing racial economic disparities in the communities they serve,” Filene said.
