ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.—PSCU has said two new people are joining its board: Tom Ryan, president and CEO of Langley Federal Credit Union in Virginia, is joining as a director, while Amy Sink, president and CEO of Interra Credit Union is joining as an associate director.
Directors John Walling, president and CEO, Christian Community Credit Union in California.; Mike Valentine, president and CEO, BCU, in Illinois; Associate Director Sandy Jelinski, president and CEO of Lake Michigan Credit Union in Michigan have all retired from the board.
“PSCU’s board would like to recognize the leadership of our retiring board members, and thank them for their years of service and valuable contributions to the continued success of their credit unions and the PSCU cooperative,” said Dave Doss, president and CEO of Arizona State Credit Union, Ariz., and PSCU’s newly elected chairman, in a statement.
“The strategic insights and contributions from long-time board members John Walling (33 years) and Mike Valentine (13 years), have left an indelible mark on the PSCU cooperative,” added Doss. “John and Mike shepherded us through many firsts, including the transition from a credit-only processor to a full-service payments provider and leader in delivering new payments technologies such as EMV, digital wallets and analytics solutions to member-owners. While we will miss their leadership on the Board, PSCU looks forward to continuing its partnership with all of the retiring board members’ credit unions.”
Following the recent elections, PSCU’s board executive committee now includes: Dave Doss, Chairman; Jeff March, president and CEO of Citadel Federal Credit Union, Pennsylvania, vice chairman; Gene Foley, president and CEO of Harvard University Employees Credit Union, Massachusetts, treasurer; Cathie Tierney, president and CEO of Community First Credit Union, Wisconsin, secretary; and Craig Esrael, president and CEO of First South Financial Credit Union, Tennesee, past chairman.
Continuing board members include Sean Rathjen, president and CEO Consumers Cooperative Credit Union, Ill.; Kit Snyder, president and CEO Consumers Credit Union, Mich.; Rob Stuart, president and CEO OnPoint Community Credit Union, Ore.; Frank Weidner, president and CEO Wings Financial Credit Union, Minn. and Terry West, president and CEO VyStar Credit Union, Fla.
