LIVONIA, Mich.–Zeal Credit Union will be moving into a new headquarters building in 2016.
The credit union has purchased a 53,000-square-foot building at 17250 Newburgh Road, just north of Six Mile Road here. The new location is within a couple of miles of the credit union’s current headquarters.
“Thanks to our strong, longtime relationship with the City of Livonia, local residents and businesses, we felt it was important for us to keep our headquarters here,” said Anthony Carnarvon, president and CEO of Zeal Credit Union.
According to Carnarvon, the new headquarters building, which is expected to be ready by late summer 2016, will allow the credit union to consolidate all of its headquarters operations within one facility, including the member call center.
“We’re excited about the coming year as we continue to introduce a variety of new services designed to give members added convenience and assistance with their financial transactions,” added Carnarvon. “
The $513-million Zeal CU has nearly 60,000 members.
